Pictures of 'Love Begins at Fifty'
by
Raymond Hopkins
presented by
Bottisham Players, May 18-20th, 2001
directed by
Lesley Pilgrim
Director's Note: This is my first time directing and only
by default: Alan Milne was initially taking on this play but
had to drop out due to circumstances beyond his control. I hope
you enjoy watching this clever farce as much as myself and the
cast have enjoyed putting it together. It has the usual formula
of mistaken identities, cover ups and other complications that
should keep you amused until the end. It is also worth noting
that the author, Raymond Hopkins, is donating all performing
rights funds to Multiple Sclerosis research.
The Debanks live in a large town in the south of England.
The action takes place in the lounge of their semi-detached house
and it is late spring.
